Denmark partners with two African countries on irregular migration
Denmark is leading two initiatives to curb irregular migration from Africa to Europe. The initiatives will be implemented in Rwanda and Tunisia with financial support from Austria.
The first phase of the initiative will support Tunisia in building a border management training centre with three-year funding to help fight human traffickers and smuggling networks. The second phase will be implemented in Rwanda with the building of a transit centre that will accommodate migrants relocated from Libya.
