165 Nigerian waka people don return from Libya

International Organization for Migration (IOM) don helep 165 Nigerian waka people wey wan come back home on their own from Libya to return on May 3. For inside the number, 74 na females and 91 males.

Na charter flight wey belong to Libya’s Buraq Airline na carry them land for the side wey dem dey pack load for Murtala Muhammed International Airport Lagos. The Zonal Coordinator for the National Emergency Management Agency, wey be Yakabu Suleiman, receive the waka people from the IOM for the Nigerian government, na so the News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, talk am.

Persin wey be the Head of Mission for IOM in Nigeria wey be Enira Krdzalic tell tori people say IOM don helep 7,746 Nigerians to come from Libya for the programme wey dem dey call voluntary return and rehabilitation programme, wey dem join hand dey do with the European Union. Krdzalic come talk say 600 Nigerian wey come back from Libya don benefit for inside the rehabilitation, and another 200 go get support for life skills training.

Many Nigerians wey dey Libya wan come back home but dem dey fear how dem go take survive when they return, na Krdzalic dey yan. E come tell Nigeria government sey make try to create programme wey go give skills to the youth, and also create employment for the youths. E sat make government join hanad with international organizations to helep to create economic opportunities. Krdzalic also talk say I go dey very important make government increase the campaign against waka abroad wey be irregular migration by Nigerians.

The NEMA Zonal Coordinator wey be Suleiman talk say the Nigerian government don increase activities to discourage irregular migration and also to provide skills and employment opportunities for Nigerians. E come highlight all the dangers wey dey for irregular migration, come dey warn Nigerians who no dey hear word to stop going on such journey.
