Sharing your details with the Migrant Project via Facebook

This privacy policy explains how On The Migrant Project (TMP) uses and protects any personal details that you share with us through Facebook forms.

What type of information is collected and processed?

We collect and process the personal information you provide to us in the Facebook contact form you were directed to this page from: specifically, your name, age, phone number, location, and self-declared intention to migrate to Europe in the next 12 months. We also collect the information on the time and date you submit the form and the language of the page you are submitting the form on. 

Who is the information shared with?

We will only share your information with the TMP personnel who require it to coordinate and conduct the service you are requesting (namely, a consultation about migration). This includes the TMP data manager, the TMP migration counsellors and their respective supervisors. We will not share your information with third parties.

How is the information used? 

We will only use your information for the purpose for which you give consent. In this case, by submitting the form with your details you consent to us contacting you to provide you with a free consultation with TMP migration counsellor.

Where is the information stored?

The information is stored on a secure Google Sheet shared only with the necessary personnel. No data on this sheet will be printed, copied or shared in any way with unauthorised parties.

How long is the information stored for?

Your information is stored until we have resolved your consultation request either by conducting a consultation with you or by cancelling your request because we fail to reach you or because you inform us you no longer want a consultation either via telephone or via Facebook. 

What rights do you have regarding our processing of your information?

You have the right to request we rectify or erase your information at any time by contacting us via Facebook. You can also ask us what types of information about you we currently have stored.
