Two more coronavirus cases confirmed in Lesbos migrant camp

Another two asylum seekers on Greece’s Lesbos island have tested positive for the coronavirus, doubling the total number of cases to four, Reuters reported on 15 May. The infected migrants were already quarantined with more than 70 others who arrived recently on the island.

Since the beginning of March, Greece has imposed restrictions on migrant camps due to the coronavirus outbreak. All newly arrived migrants are forced to stay in quarantined facilities to protect others.
