North Macedonia finds 211 migrants crammed into a truck

North Macedonian border officials found 211 migrants, including 63 minors, packed into a truck during a routine check near the country’s southern border with Greece, police said on 7 July.

Police detained the migrants and moved them to a transit centre where they will be held until they can be sent back to Greece. The driver, who is a 27-year-old North Macedonian national, has been arrested.
