German police found 31 migrants inside refrigerated truck

German police found 31 migrants hidden inside a refrigerated truck near the border with the Czech Republic, German news agency DPA reported on 14 July.

The migrants, aged between 18 and 47 years, were lying on boxes filled with melons inside the truck. They were from Turkey, Syria, Iran and Iraq.

The 57-year-old Turkish driver was detained by police.
