Libya: Hundreds of migrants intercepted and detained within 48 hours  

About 400 Europe-bound migrants fleeing Libya have been intercepted and taken to detention centres in Tripoli by the Libyan Coastguard in a period of 48 hours.

Two bodies were recovered at sea on 25 May after 315 migrants were intercepted and returned to Libya, according to UN refugee agency.  Earlier, about 85 migrants were captured by the Libyan coastguard. More than 1,000 people have tried to cross the Mediterranean sea from Libya this month.
