North Macedonia police found 135 migrants inside three trucks

North Macedonia police have intercepted 135 migrants and asylum seekers inside three separate trucks during routine checks in the central part of the country, Associated Press reported on 16 August.

A total of 55 migrants were found inside two separate trucks on 14 August, while the other one, hiding 80 other migrants inside, was intercepted on 16 August. 

The migrants, including many women and children, were sent to a migrant facility in the southern border town of Gevgelija, pending deportation to Greece.
